About the job:
You will work with our tight knit and talented team of global development superstars on both internal and client-facing challenges and opportunities. While working on Head Global growth and operations functions, you’ll get first hand experience of what it is like to be on the inside team of a rapidly growing organization. While working on external client tasks, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with dozens of international development partner organizations.
As Business Development and Recruitment Manager, you’ll provide direct support to our clients with their proposals and business development teams and lead full-cycle proposal and home office recruits. You’ll also do exciting things like create social media strategies for Head Global to reach our target audience and have room to do things like create and execute new events and services to provide more value to our clients. You’ll also perform less exciting yet critical business functions like processing invoices, organizing files, and editing documents.

ABOUT YOU:
We care more about your abilities than years of experience or degree. But, the ideal candidate likely has somewhere between 3-5 years’ experience in international development and a relevant bachelor’s degree.
You can manage or coordinate large USAID proposals with ease. You’ve written various sections of proposals, even if you haven’t written an entire technical or cost proposal by yourself.
Recruiting for proposals, projects, or home office positions is not new to you, and you enjoy sourcing candidates and keeping the recruit organized.
You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy juggling multiple assignments.
You have the ability to manage-up and communicate your work load and priorities to multiple other team members and clients.
It’s imperative that you be excited about networking and passionate about connecting people, whether it is with our clients, candidates, or industry partners. People are often impressed with your interpersonal skills.
Your attention to detail is among your strongest suits, and you rarely let a final document go out of your inbox that has even minor flaws.
A strong social media passion and prowess is a plus, but not required.
You’re looking to commit at least two years in a role and organization that offers you exponential growth opportunities.
You must have US work authorization and be able to work in our fun and hip Washington, DC shared office space (once the current quarantine guidelines allow, of course!).
